According to legend, the two continents of Arborea are the backs of fallen titans--they are unconscious, dreaming of the glorious world of Arborea, imbuing the land with peace and tranquility. These dreamers cause a beautiful world to take shape on their backs, creating Arborea and everything that it contains.
The first creatures dreamed into existence were the gods of Arborea—twelve in all. They possessed power far beyond any living creature later imagined by the sleeping Titans. With power this immense, it was inevitable that these beings would also be the first to wage war in Arborea. First, their battles took place among themselves. However, eventually they recruited the mortal races of Arborea to their fight.

The races who survived, and those who trace their origins to war—the Castanics and the Baraka—faced yet more challenges.
Years ago a race called the Argons—a metallic race from the Underworld—appeared in Arborea, which none of the races, neither the Humans, Castanics, Aman, Popori, Baraka, nor the High Elves were able to handle single-handedly. To repel this evil, the six races of Arborea formed the Valkyon Federation. Humans, the founding race of the Federation, acted as the means to rally the other five races, and bound them together into a force able to meet this threat.
The Coalition was successful, and the Argons were forced back. Arborea is now a land at peace, a land savoring its unity and prosperity—the relations between the races continue to be harmonious and strong. All work toward the betterment of Arborea, leaving the war-torn past, death, and struggle behind.
However, a mysterious island called the Island of Dawn has recently appeared between the two continents of Arun and Shara—the citizens of Arborea are mystified, unsure of the significance of this event. The Federation has been sending adventurers to investigate this landmass, and guard the interests of Arborea. Reports suggest that the dreamers are creating animals at an alarming rate. As a player, your duty is to discover why.
