Campfire[]

Campfires are an interesting part of the out of combat (OOC) TERA experience.

Source(s): Campfire

Overview[]

There are campfires, just like the one pictured, all around the world of Arborea, usually near questing hubs that never burn out. However, these campfires also exist in portable versions, being given out as quest rewards. Players are able to put those down wherever they chose, though eventually, those fires will die out. That's the purpose of the firestarters. Any player is able to keep the fire alive by using a firestarter item. The portable fires are one-time-use items and aren't currently buyable, but this could always change.

Firestarter Keeps the fire alive
Parchments Allows you to use the campfire. Depending on the parchment used near the campfire an appropriate effect will be given.
Your Condition In the picture above, you can see a big heart with a "100%" in it. That's how one's condition is depicted. Your condition rises in percentage the longer you stay at the campfire. Better condition actually adds to your health by a certain amount, which I found really useful!

Campfire Usage[]

  • Right-clicking a parchment near the campfire(s) will let you use them.
  • Putting firestarters in the campfire(s) will keep the fire alive.
  • Staying in rested condition near the campfire will recover your "condition" back to 100%
  • Using parchments near the campfire(s) will give you special effects.
